Famed for its wonderful spring and autumn time weather
and hot summers, Seville has a Mediterranean climate
with medium to high temperatures and strong oceanic
influences. The average temperature in winter is around
13º C, and winter lows do not normally fall below
2 or 3º C. Rainfall is scant to moderate, averaging
578 l/m a year.

The city experiences little climatic change: mild
winters and hot summers. The average annual temperature
ranges between 16 and 18º C, although the summertime
average is a much higher 27º C.
According to the San Pablo weather observatory, the
city averages around 250 hours of sun a month. The
average number of hours of sun increases from almost
200 in the winter months to approximately 350 in the
summer months (May, June, July and August).
