Car hire Malaga Airport Guide
Malaga is one of Spain's most important Airports with approximately 10 million passengers passing through each year. It's located 8km southwest of Malaga city centre and offers both scheduled and chartered flights to and from most of the main destinations across Europe.
Malaga Airport has 3 terminals (Terminal 1,2 & the new T3) that are connected internally. All shops, bars, restaurants and fast food outlets are now located in the new T3, including a chemist. A medical service is also available in the Airport. For further shopping opportunities, have a look through the duty-free and the other outlets in the Centro Comercial, located in Terminal 3 departures, on the first floor.
Business travellers will also find two VIP lounges equipped with fax and telephone facilities in T3. For meetings, contact the Airport to arrange the rental of rooms. However, there is no business centre at the Airport just yet.
Disabled parking spaces are for badge holders only. Inside the Airport, assistance is offered by the airlines. Inform your airline company in advance, should you have any special needs.
Information points (Tel. +34 95 204 8804): Are located in the Arrivals halls of all 3 Terminals. Information is provided in several languages, by staff wearing bright green jackets. The major airlines also have information points in Arrivals and Departures.
