Car Hire Seville Airport

San Pablo International Airport is just at about twelve minute driven from the city centre of Sevilla. There is a distance of 10 kilometres between Seville Airport and Seville city.

The airport was designed by Rafael Moneo, and opened in 1991. The total cost amounted to over one hundred million euro, and it has a passenger capacity of eight million a year.

There are now direct flights to major European cities and good connections via Madrid and Barcelona to many of the most important destinations worldwide. Seville Airport also allow to international flights and Seville's train station provides good connections to many towns and cities nearby Seville, such as Madrid and Cordoba. But the problem is that there is no no train connection with the airport.

Transport

Seville's urban transport Bus company (tel: (902) 210 317) operates buses between the airport and the Santa Justa Railway Station in Seville every half hour. There are taxis in front of the terminal building. A ride to Seville costs approximately 20€ and takes 15 minutes.

Seville is the capital of the Andalucian comunity but only 20% of its passenger traffic at Seville Airport is from outside of Spain. Seville Airport is an airport especially for domestic flights (almost 80%). But the number of international flights is increasing especially with the arrival of the budget airline Ryanair. The airline company British Airways also flies out of Seville.

Parking

There are two parking lots, one with 750 spaces and the other with 1,250 spaces. There are both short-term and long-term parking spaces. The price is: 1st half hour 0.50€, 2nd half hour 0.70€ and 1.20€ per hour after that. Parking costs 12.00€ per day and 9.60€ per day from the fifth day.
