Jubrique Malaga
As is the case with the rest of the villages in the Genal Valley, Jubrique stands on mountainous terrain, its streets and houses adapted to the uneven land on which they were built, thus creating the architectural layout so typical of La Serrania de Ronda area.
History
Jubrique appeared as a result of the existence of a farm in the area during the Andalusi-Arabic period, like most of the villages in La Serrania de Ronda. Later, like its neighbours, it was conquered by Christian armies.
This village has been experiencing a sustained growth in population since the 18th century.
